Customer Affinity

What is customer affinity?

Customer affinities act as personal connections that people have with a particular topic, product or even individual attribute. People can have an affinity for shoes to Nike, or Adidas, and a simultaneous affinity to Apple for laptops.

A strong digital marketing campaign draws in customers based on their interests as well as the affinities they share with a particular company. Most companies that nurture customer affinity for their brands also create profiles for their clients and strive to please them.

These profiles collect information on visitors’ browsing habits. They keep track of how customers view and purchase items, for instance by adding them to their shopping cart or buying them on sale.

Product feeds can be studied, analyzed, and leveraged in order to recommend the most appropriate product variations or experience variations for each visitor.
